Sansin Wood-Strip is a ready-to-use gel that effectively removes paints, stains, sealers, and water repellents from wood surfaces. Designed for both new and weathered wood, it also eliminates mold, mildew, and UV discoloration, restoring the natural beauty of the surface. This biodegradable, low-VOC stripper rinses off with water and comes with Sansin Wood Lightener® for complete restoration.

Surface Preparation Requirements
- Ensure wood is dry and ambient temperature is above 20°C (70°F)
- Protect surrounding vegetation and non-wood surfaces
- Do not apply in direct sunlight or allow to dry on the surface

- Apply liberally with brush, roller, or sprayer
- Mist with water periodically to keep active
- Let dwell for 20+ minutes, agitate with stiff brush
- Rinse with water or low-pressure washer (max 500 psi)
- Allow wood to dry fully before continuing
Step 2 – Sansin Wood Lightener®
- Dissolve the included bag in 1.5–2 gallons (5.75–7.5 L) of water
- Apply evenly, let sit 10 minutes
- Rinse off with water
- Let wood dry fully before sanding with 60–80 grit

Ideal for use with Sansin Wood Wash and Wood-Strip, it ensures a uniform surface and improves coating adhesion for both interior and exterior wood applications.
S-100 Stripper
S-100 Finish Remover is an environmentally friendly water-based solvent that removes many oil and water-borne finishes from logs, siding, and decks. Perma-Chink Systems developed a finish remover using new technology originally developed for removing paint from aluminum aircraft surfaces. Supplied as a ready-to-use gel, it is easily applied with a short bristled brush, paint roller, or airless sprayer. Within a few minutes it begins to soften the finish and since it is a gel, it stays wet and active for a fairly long period of time. Once the finish has sufficiently softened, it can be removed by simply pressure washing. S-100 will not darken or discolor the wood, will not corrode or discolor metal surfaces, nor will it harm log home chinking or sealants. Although it is effective for removing most log home finishes, there are some high performance coatings that may require a more aggressive chemical stripper. Perma-Chink Systems recommends that a sample of S-100 be obtained from them and tested on the finish you want to remove prior to placing an order.
