Liquid Wood Details

Liquid Wood is a wood hardener that revitalizes rotten logs, spongy wood, and dried timber. This solution was formulated to penetrate the wood extensively and help it regain its natural strength. Regular applications provide logs with a waterproof layer and stronger fibers. 

Wood Epox is a malleable compound that enables the replacement of wood parts in putrid logs. It doesn’t shrink, and it can fit any missing part no matter how thick. Also, it supports paint, stain, and sanding as top layers.

The Wood Restoration Kit consists of Liquid Wood A & B and Wood Epox A & B. You can combine them to generate 24 oz. or 4 quarts in a total of log restoration solution. Other items in the kit include one applicator bottle, one putty knife, one pair of disposable gloves, and a user manual with wood maintenance instructions. These products are GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality Certified and made in the USA.

Advantages

LiquidWood is water-resistant and long-lasting. Also, it provides wood applications with structural strength and stability. Both LiquidWood A and B are 100% reactive compounds that penetrate logs without releasing toxic odors, VOC’s or peeling. Lastly, they are both GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality Certified.

Technical Specifications

LiquidWood is made of two transparent epoxy solutions. One of them is a resin (A), and the other is a wood hardener (B). Mixing them in equal parts results in a deep-penetrating liquid that can help wood regain its natural strength.

Application

1. Simply mix equal volumes of the resin (A) and the wood hardener (B) in a large recipient. 
2. Use a stick to stir the resulting epoxy liquid and help the compounds blend better. 
3. Soak a thick brush in the epoxy solution and gently brush the wood you want to restore.
4. Keep in mind that the pot life of this mix is 30 minutes.

If you wish to fill in the gaps between putrid logs, you can use a combination of LiquidWood with WoodEpox. Just make sure that it is a thin coat because the WoodEpox tends to expand before it dries.
