• Surface Preparation: Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, wax, or coatings. Moisture content should be below 20%.
• Backer Rod: Use closed-cell backer rod or bond breaker tape to control depth and prevent three-point adhesion.
• Tools: Apply using bulk gun or sausage gun. Tool using spatula, foam brush, or slicker within 30–60 minutes.
• Temperature Range: Apply between –1°C and 32°C (30°F to 90°F). Product should be warmed for ease of gunning below 5°C.
• Cure Time: Full cure in 3 days for ¾″ deep joints at 20°C/40% RH. May take up to 14 days in colder, damper conditions.
• Staining: Compatible with most breathable stains and finishes. Wait 3–7 days before overcoating.
