UV Boost
UV Boost is a concentrated water-based liquid stain additive that contains a new technology ultraviolet light inhibitor. Some regions of the country such as the Southeast, Southwest and higher altitude areas are subject to high intensity sunlight. Over time the ultraviolet light in sunlight darkens the lignin component of wood. When added to the first coat on bare wood of any Lifeline wood finish, UV Boost combines with the lignin to delay the wood beneath the stain from graying. Since the concentration of the active components differ, be sure to use the appropriate size for the amount of stain or finish you are using.
Borate Can-Bor Professional
Can-bor® is the inexpensive insurance every log home owner needs. Rot and beetles and termites – oh my! When sprayed or brushed on bare wood, this borate-based log home preservative forms a protective shell to defend against rot and wood-ingesting insects. It’s easy to use and EPA-registered. Can-bor® will not affect the color of wood and is chemically compatible with all of our stains, caulking and chinking products. CPR Log Cleaner & Brightener
CPR® Log Cleaner and Brightener brings your logs and wood back to life. CPR cleans and brightens bare logs and wood, and restores luster and vibrancy when used for routine log home maintenance. It’s a gentle log and wood home cleaner whose oxygenated bleach formula won’t weaken wood fibers. It effectively kills mold, mildew and fungus, while also removing dirt, dust, pollen and other surface contaminants. Use CPR in conjunction with power washing or media blasting to perfectly prepare wood surfaces before staining, or apply with a pump sprayer and rinse with a hose for routine maintenance..
BORACOL 20-2
BORACOL is a liquid wood preservative formula. Whether looking for a strong fungicidal, mouldicide or insecticide to kill attacks already in progress or seeking to protect new wood projects, this environmentally responsible preservatives will effectively stop wood deterioration in its tracks. The main advantage of BORACOL is the ability to distribute the preservative through sapwood as well as heartwood. Very low toxicity to mammals. **Boracol requires heated shipping from Oct-April as it can’t freeze. Pickup is still available year round. Log Wash
Log Wash is a liquid concentrate for cleaning log and wood surfaces. It can be used as a maintenance cleaner or to prepare the surface of wood for a new coat of stain or topcoat. For preparing the surface of bare wood for a new coat of stain, Log Wash removes dirt, grime, pollen, and surface stains without harming the wood or the finish. As opposed to bleach solutions, Log Wash does not upset the natural pH balance of the wood, thus preventing wood fiber damage and iron tannate stains. (To treat gray, UV-exposed wood see Wood Renew). The exterior of a log home is a settling ground for dust, pollen and other airborne contaminants that dull the surface and encourage mold growth. A light cleaning once or twice a year will keep a home looking beautiful and helps prolong the life of the exterior wood finish.

BORACOL 20 – 2 BD
BORACOL 20-2 BD is a wood preservative which is fungicidal and insecticidal with an added preventative mouldicidal effect; is fungicidal when used as a preventative treatment and fungicidal when used as an eradicant and effective in preventing mould on wood and stone as well as other absorbent surfaces. BORACOL 20-2 BD IS A SPECIAL ORDER. PLEASE ALLOW 1-2 WEEKS LEAD TIME.

Cedar Wash is a Ready-to-Use cleaner specifically formulated for preparing the bare wood surface of wood species that contain high levels of wood extractives and resin oils. Cedar Wash is designed to remove surface resin oils and high concentrations of water-soluble wood extractives in addition to dirt, grease, grime, pollen, and surface stains without harming the wood. We highly recommended Cedar Wash as a cleaner for Southern Pine, Douglas Fir, Spruce and Cypress logs.
