- Surface Prep: Sand to 60–80 grit. Clean with Sansin Multi-Wash or power wash (min. 3000 PSI). Remove mill glaze, dirt, and fiber.
- Moisture Content: Wood should be under 25% moisture content before application.
- Application: Brush, dip, flood, or spray. Always back-brush. Saturate surface and level out runs.
- Number of Coats: One coat is sufficient in most cases. Second coat optional within 30–60 min for richer color.
- Temperature: Apply between 10°C and 30°C (50°F–86°F). Avoid direct sun and freezing temps.
- Dry Time: Touch dry in 4–6 hours. Full cure in 3–5 days. Wait 24 hours before exposure to rain or foot traffic.
